Default Eagles Cardinals thoughts

Well as they say in the trade a win is a win, whether its against an undefeated team or a winless team, it still goes int he books the same.

Let me first say this: CAN WE NO STOP WITH THE NONSENSE THAT THE CARDINALS ARE A GOOD TEAM? CAN WE STOP WITH THE NONSENSE THAT THEY ARE ANYTHING MORE THAN A SOFT OFFENSIVE TEAM THAT CRAWLS UNDER THE MAT WHEN THEY GET PUNCHED IN THE MOUTH?

With that said, the way the eagles have been playing lately, I had my doubts on what was going to happen with this game last night. The cardinals can be somewhat dangerous on offense at times & the eagles game plan was awesome in basically shutting them down. Jim Johnson has always had Kurt warners number over the years & Warner just can't manage a game against an immense amount of pressure. Warner excels when he has all day in the pocket. He did not have it last night.

What can I say about the offense last night? I think mcnabb basically shut up his critics at least for one week. He looked like a different guy out there last night, even in warmups he looked ore focused than ever before & it looked like he was truly out to proove everyone wrong.

Oh yeah for those certain people who think Brian Westbrook is overrated.... Did ya watch the game last night? I know ya did... YA still think that?

It is amazing the difference in the eagles offensive game plans when andy reid does not call the plays. Marty called the plays last night & man does he know how to get westy involved in a game plan....

The eagles offensive line just man handled the cardinals d line all night creating great holes & great pass protection. The run schemes were great, I wish they were that creative every week.

Nice job to my eagles, Am i surprised they won? Nope, But I will say, I would not have bet any money on my confidence level going into this game.

A few things we learned after watching the game.............

Andy reid can't call plays for s*it
Marty needs to call the plays every week...period end

The cardinals are a product of a brutal division & they are one of the softest teams I have seen in a long time... If you punch them in the mouth, they are down for the count. They have potential to be a good team down the road, but right now they are nothing more than a pretender & they are no where near ready to hang with the big boys in the nfc.

I wake up in a happier mood today, because like i said a win is a win & nothing makes me happier than an eagles win. Now I have 10 days to get ready for the alqaeda network of football & maybe just maybe my team can win " my superbowl".... I know its a long shot...but on any given sunday!

Mike, how was your Thanksgiving?

I think the Cardinals are a great team. Great QB, great receivers- especially Boldin and Fitzgerald, great kicker in Rackers, good, solid defense and not bad special teams. Not bad coaching either.

Some issues I have after the win.

So because the Eagles beat up on a NFC west Team Marty called the plays? Is he going to call them against the Giants?

Westbrook saying-"we have something to prove tonight" Prove what?

Andy Reid Press conference today was almost 30 mins after a win but 5 min after the lost to the Ravens.

The only guy who didn't talk crazy was Mcnabb, he said all the right things and knew it was more work to be done.

And I agree, I don't want to hear sH*T about the Cardinals or Kurt Warner the rest of the year. Fraudulent. I knew the Eagles would win but not scoring 48 pts

DO NOT SLEEP ON THE CARDINALS!

They can sneak up on everyone in the playoffs.

While almost everyone is basically handing the NFC to the Giants, let me remind you that the G-Men are nowhere close to being out of the woods.

Remember- regular-season greatness means NOTHING if you can't back it up in the playoffs!

The problem is they have backed it up. They are the SB champions. I know it was last year but until someone beats them, they are the team to beat. They actually look like they're a better team than they were last year.

I know they better not allow the skins and Eagles to get closer to us-lol Especially the Eagles, I think that's all the Eagles would need to run the table and et in the playoffs.

I don't trust Mcnabb at all-lol

When their backs are against the wall, that's when McNabb plays the best. Every year it loks like he and Reid are on their way out and then they go on a late season winning streak and they're back for another year. lol

I really don't think you need to worry about the Eagles anymore. I maybe wrong, but I think they are toast.

I thought the same thing about last year's Colts.

Don't get too confident, Solomon. Dallas beat up on a SORRY ASS Seahawk team, Don't have the "boys" beating the Steelers, in Pittsburgh just yet.
