I watch the Macy's one too, and I'm always anxious for them to get the broadway acts overwith and bring out the floats.

I normally watch Macy's. But I'm doing one better this year....I'm at the Macy's Parade this year! I'm actually working with my camera crew who is taping parts of the event. I am working and watching the parade at the same time.

For any of you that live here in New York or if you have loved ones that do that are driving right now, AVOID 57th st and 7th AVENUE AT ALL COSTS! YOU WILL GET SCREWED IN TRAFFIC!

That is so cool!! Since I live in NYC in past yrs I would go & watch the parade. But oy, you have to get there very early to get a good spot. It's definitely something worth doing once! The marching bands and celebs were my fav parts. Maybe I'll get lucky one yr & get invited to a viewing party...it's definitely a fun parade.

Well, this is my third live parade. I parked against the flow of traffic and floats. I type a little and then I go back out to the sidewalk and look at the floats. You are right. It is a fun parade. I love looking at the kids' faces when they see the floats go by. This is the highlight of the day. I don't finish work untill about 10pm tonight. I will eat with my crew, then hop toyota and grab dinner plates from the houses of family and friends.

I watch every year. Usually the parade here in Detroit first and then Macy's, it gets re-run later on on NBC since it's original timeslot is pre-empted for the local parade. They rule.

We always have the Macy's parade on on Thanksgiving, and I'll see bits and parts of it while I'm getting ready. Anyone watch the dog show after it? I'll catch parts of that, too.

I watch Macy's every year. I switch between NBC & CBS. We went to the Macy's parade about 15 years ago. Froze our tootsies off but it's very cool to see that parade up close at least once in your life!

The Macy's parade on NBC is on in the living room, Mom and dad are watching and commenting.

For those watching NBC - is it me or is Meredith Vierra just awful at this parade stuff?
She looks like she's bored out of her mind. Loosen Up sweeite! Try to look like you're enjoying yourself!

I watched "The Macy's Thanksgiving Parade" today and some of the National Dog Show after it. I always watched Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade every Thanksgiving.

I recorded it on my DVD recorder so that I could sleep late and watch
it later. Did anyone watch NBC's airing of Miracle On 34th Street?
