Default Mriggles I just want to say I appreciate having you on this board to talk sports with

You are a passionate sports fan like me and it's a shame we don't like the same teams but I look forward to chatting with you every week because you are far from a fake fan. You are here each and every week no matter how the Eagles lost and you never have shown me that you are like some Eagles fans on this board. You are very classy, knowledgable about the game, and just an all around great guy and I'm glad we have you as a member on this board. It's a shame that some eagles on here make you look bad since you are such a diehard fan. And I know you won;t be one of those Eagles fans to follow mcnabb to another team because that's just not what you are about Mike. You don't bail out on the team you love and for that I jist want to say I have a lot of respect for you and look forward to chatting with you the rest of the season.

I never liked PHONIES and Mike you are far from that

Well that's very nice to hear Solomon. Thank you for the nice, very nice words my friend. My passion for the eagles runs very deep & always has & always will. If 5 goes elsewhere next year, it will sadden me tremendously, I truly love the guy. He is such a class act, every year we BS at the season ticket holders carnival & have some laughs & i have supported him since day 1.

If he does leave the eagles, I will always follow him & his progress on another team, but he will become the enemy & that is just the way it is. It will be hard to root against him.

Thanks again for the kind words Solomon & the feelings mutual. I love talking sports with passionate fans & although we share a mutual disgust for each others teams, we can respect the other as fans & that is good stuff!!!!

You rock!!

my best friend in the world is a die hard vikings fan & he is praying they get mcnabb.

I will keep track of what he is doing where ever he goes, but you can't jump ship cause your favorite player leaves. If that were the case I would have been a packer fan long ago after the minister of defense left. He is my all time favorite eagle. RIP REGGIE!!!!

Brian dawkins is my boy, but i love mcnabb

I just don't think the Eagles are stupid enough to trade him to a NFC team like Minnesota or Chicago

That's the same with me Mike. When Emmitt left Dallas for Arizona it saddened me. I hoped he retired. I wish him well though. When he came back to play against Dallas some fans booed him. I couldn't do that but while the game was on ,everytime he got the ball I rooted for our defense to stop him. It is a strange feeling going against someone that you used to root for. When he goes into the HOF, I will be there cheering for him again. I'll always consider Emmitt a Cowboy, not a Cardinal.

I'm with Solomon on this. Even though we root for different teams, its great talking sports with someone who is a die hard fan. I can tell how much you care about the Eagles. It's in everyone of your posts.

I think there is a chance.... I really do, especially if a # 1 pick is dangled in front of us. Trust me if reid gets the axe, mcnabb is out. If reid stays, it is a better than 50% chance he stays, however his cap number is over 11 million next year, so I think to stay in philly he would be asked to renegotiate

Thanks Sonny...that means alot. Yeah anyone who knows me well knows I am a psycho lunatic eagles fan. I swear I need to calm down or at least take it down a notch, but I just can't do it. If anyone on this board ever saw me in action at the linc, I would be the subject of alot of posts trust me on that Every game I come home a beaten man so to speak...LOL

I would never boo mcnabb if he came back to the linc...Hell I have never once booed him as an eagle, but your right, you cheer for him in intros...then its game on & he is the enemy

Thumbs up

I just want to say what a really nice thread this is!! So good to see.

I'd love to see this happen on the politics board too! That's how I feel - just because you might not agree about teams, players, politicians, etc., doesn't mean you still can't be great friends. Just the fact that you have such a passion for the same subject should show that you have that in common at least.

I can testify that Mike is the biggest Eagle fan ever and a good friend of mine. I am glad he is here on SO to share his knowledge on both football and game shows.

Three days off should stop that out-of-control mouth of yours. I warned both you and Solomon. He listened, you did not. Next suspension will be two weeks. After that, you're gone. You're too foul mouthed for this forum.
