Was Frances McDormand who played Marge in Fargo in a sitcom in the 80's or 90's?? It's bugging me!

No. She had a recurring role as Connie Chapman on Hill Street Blues in 1981. And she starred as Willie Pipal in Leg Work in 1987. But neither of these are sitcoms.
