Peter Tork in Hartford last night - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Saw and met Peter Tork last night at a benefit for the Boys & Girls Club at Black Eyed Sally's in Hartford.

He played a song with my Dad's band, Deaf Dog ("I'm A Believer") and a few with a local band called "Catalyst" (including "Last Train to Clarksville" and "Daydream Believer" -- he also did a few blues numbers with them as well).

After the benefit he did a meet and greet, autographs, photos, etc. I bought his "Cambria Hotel" that he did with Shoe Suede Blues and got that signed as well as my Headquarters Sessions CD - plus a photo or 2.

Our company sponsored the event and my supervisor organized it.

I don't know... I saw Davy in concert 2 years ago, and he was in great shape. Looked like he could whoop some ass.

oh that would have been so cool for me!! i'm a big monkees fan i probley would have forgot my own name if i met him you were soooo lucky!! and i seen davy jones too in concert a few months ago and he looked all right too me

Yeah, I saw him in concert in Aug & had a nice time. Got to meet him after the show too. I've met all 4 Monkees before which was a dream some true for me...
