There's a car commerical for a Kia dealership where this man has his 2 young sons dressed up in (too big) men's suits & mustaches & hats. Ever wonder why there are so many weird commericals involving car dealerships? lol!

^ LOL, cuz mine's a dealership too. Local Ford dealer has these commercials with the owner and some "babe". The "babe" giggles a lot and doesn't sound at all intelligent. And she must be a dog because they never show her up close. lol
It looks like it has the quality of a YouTube video. |

There is the one commercial that comes on and the guy is trying to sell Caskets. Every time it comes on I have to change the channel. That is just too morbid for me.

I have DirecTV, so I see less of them now but back when I had Adelphia, we had all sorts of weird commercials for a store called Sign of the Sun. There was one that was just a bad parody of MST3K.

there's not many local commercials on tv, but one does stand out the most. it was for a furniture store and it was a family owned business. one of the commercials, everyone in the family had dressed up as something. it was so random. one of the guys was a huge pink bunny, i think someone else was dressed up as santa claus. and it wasn't even near easter or christmas. lol. it didn't really make me want to go buy furniture from them.

For those of you living in New England, what's your stance on the Bob's Discount Furnature commercials? I think they're odd.

bobs discount furniture and wholesale waterbeds keeps growing & growing...come on down! thats actually from when he probably 1st opened.
they are kind of kooky but then again so is bob. some recent ones he had the furniture talking! his store in manchester, ct is pretty cool though. he has free fresh baked cookies and candy and popcorn and lemonade and coffee and an indoor golf course complete with stream and windmills. one time my cousin was here visiting from out of state and we were bored but had no money so we went to his store and pigged out on the goodies and played us some "miniature golf" |

We used to have a lot of Bob's stores between the Oxford and Franklin counties in Maine, but they seem to have evaporated and have mostly been replaced by Christmas Tree Shop, Big Lots or Dollar Tree. It seems like it's becoming a New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island and Massachusetts thing.
