Who's read it? I actually just bought the first book on Monday and I'm about to start reading it. Everyone seems to be reading it, LOL, so I wanted to see what you guys thought.

Lauren, is this the basis for that movie that just came out, or is about to come out?
(the star of it appeared at a local mall the other day, and a lot of people turned out to see him!) |

Stephenie Meyer needs to stop with the terrible-ass books about perfect iceball men wearing glitter spray. Vampires are played out and overrated, I don't see what the huge deal is.

i haven't read any of them & probably won't. my friend started to read the first one & she said she really didn't like it & that it seemed like it was aimed for the middle/high school age kids. i will, however, most likely be seeing the movie since my sister is dying to see it. but people are really starting to go crazy over the movie, it's scary.

I have only read the first book so far. I might go and see the movie this weekend.

Let's see....I've read all 4 books, I'm planning to see the movie on Sat (if I can get tickets), and my Flair board on Facebook is covered in Twilight/Edward Cullen flair. So yeah, you could say I'm a fan.
Lulu, feel free to PM me once you start reading if you'd like to gush about sparkly vampires, hehe. (I'm die-hard Team Edward, but I love Jacob, too!) - Kristen |

I've read them all and I think the series is definately overrated. The first book was decent, but after that I think they went down hill. In my opinion the hype over them is misplaced. But, you should read them to determine for yourself.
