The N.F.L. is giving the suspended cornerback Adam Jones another chance. The Dallas Cowboys said Wednesday that Jones had been reinstated by Commissioner Roger Goodell but that he would miss the next two games. He will be back Dec. 7 for a game at Pittsburgh.

Goodell suspended Jones indefinitely on Oct. 14, a week after he had gotten into an alcohol-related scuffle with his bodyguard during a private party at a Dallas hotel.

Goodell had said he would not put a time frame on the suspension until after Jones missed at least four games. This decision means the suspension will be six games. Jones also missed the entire 2007 season. When he returns, he will have been suspended for 22 of 28 games.

His yearlong suspension was for repeated legal troubles while with the Tennessee Titans. He was traded to Dallas in the off-season, then given another chance by Goodell.

It is amazing how many times they bail him out... I mean everyone deserves a second chance...but lets take bets right now how long before he is back behind bars

They let this thug back in (and so fast)? Mine as well free the prisons of all the drug lords, thugs, rapists and gangbangers as well.

He sniffed his hand and it smelled "get out fast" but he decided to still cause trouble, act up and get into something. He doesn't give a sh*t if he gets caught or in trouble though- lol..
