What say you, over or under, and why? I say under. I grew up with it that way, so it could be just a habit. I just think under looks better.

Can I pick other?

We don't put ours on a roller...thing (word?) at home, just next to the toilet...so neither. Though I guess I would prefer it over. Easier access.

We have a roller but ours is rarely on it, it seems like such a pain to put it on, so it sits next to the toilet too.

Over. My reason is because I have a germ phobia, and when it's under, the toilet paper is closer to the wall, making the chances of someone's soiled hand touching the wall better. When it's over, the toilet paper is so far from the wall that the likelihood of your hand hitting the wall is not very good.

Weird I know, but that's just the way this germaphobe thinks. lol!

When I was younger, thought under looked best and it's true.

HOWEVER, now it HAS to be OVER!!! If it's under and you yank too hard, you get reams flying at you. It also can be tricky to find depending on your manuvering and positioning!!

If you hang it over, and then fold the end into a "V", it looks sharp and all ready for the next customer!!

Usually I run out at very inopportune(sp?) times, so I personally just shove the damn thing on the roll and use it!!

I do the same thing, Lauren!!!!

However, my brother-who I live with (unfortunately, I can't live alone)

insits on putting it under.

And my parents don't put it on a roller, they just keep the roll on the sink, radiator-whatever's handy

because their roller is out of the way.
