Wally's friend plays sleeping cop in 'Van Nuys Blvd' - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I have the 8 movie Drive-In Cult Classics Volume 3 DVD set. One of the films is the late 70's teen comedy 'Van Nuys Blvd', on the director's commentary, writer/director William Sachs says during the filming he met a guy who was a street sweeper, and learned that they guy had played one of Wally's friends on Leave it to Beaver, so Sachs casted him as a sleeping cop(you just see him always asleep)...Any ways, I couldn't recognize him, Sachs never said his name, he wasn't listed in the credits, and I couldn't find him listed on IMDB.com.

I was just curious if by chance anyone knows who this is? Granted he could have meant one of Beaver's friends too.

I thinking it was one of Beaver's friend because I heard the story and it was a friend of Beaver, I'm thinking Whitey. I could be wrong though.

It could be, after all it was 30 years ago, and the director said he was even having to use notes for the commentary because it'd been so long ago.

It's hard to tell in the movie because the 'sleeping cop' always has his eyes closed and head tilted back.
