Hello everyone. I'm usually just a lurker on these Internet message boards, but when I found this site I knew I couldn't resist joining the conversation! I was delighted to see that SpikeTV had begun to air old episodes of UM (although I would agree with a majority of you that it pales in comparison to the original) I am nonetheless delighted to see it back on television. Seeing it back on TV got me thinking about a case I had seen profiled on the show many years ago. This case has haunted me for some time. I only vaguely remember it but here goes. It was about a father and son who owned some type of gas station/repair shop. Some of the employees who worked there concocted a scheme to kidnap the father's son and hold him for ransom. The father immediately called the police and eventually they found out who had taken the boy. However by the time that they got to the location where he was being held the boy was already dead. I think I remember their being 3 suspects, 2 who had worked for the father, and the other one being the girlfriend of one of them. They were never apprehended.
I was wondering if anyone remembers this case, or if there have been any updates. Sorry I couldn't be more clear on the details! Thanks, and I look forward to chatting with all you UM fans! |
