First i have no problem with Farina,Robert Stack is gone and i must move on and accept a new host. But saying that what i do have a problem with is the show atmosphere Farina needs to be out on the field like Stack was.
Stack would stand outside the place ,or be in the area of specified topic of mystery Farina needs to do this instead of being confined inside a building 2. Start with new mysteries, A ton of mysteries have happened since UM was last aired with Stack |

Stack never went out on location at all during the "Lifetime" years. Most of his introductions were filmed in one or two locations that had nothing to do with the segment he was speaking about unlike in the NBC years where it seemed like Stack was walking around the neighborhood or area where the case took place. As far as producing new segments, that would cost SPIKE TV even more money. They would have to hire actors, a film crew of their own, possibly bring Farina out to do the intros on location like Stack used to do...it would be a major undertaking. I'm not sure if it was ever SPIKE's intention to produce new episodes when they obtained the rights to broadcast the show last year. I think like most cable networks they are trying something different (in this case revamping an old series) in hopes that it catches interest with new and old viewers alike that either are unfamiliar with the show or remember it from years past and want to see it again in an updated format. |

I didn't want to make a snap judgement on the "new" unsolved mysteries, so i wanted to get enough episodes under my belt before i rendered my decision...
and believe me I wanted to love it , I wanted to give it a chance, but the truth is , the "new" show is terrible, it's just not any good, it totally lacks the "chill down the spine" feeling that the original offered up episode after episode, the best way to describe the "new" show from my perspective is, like trying to watch ur favorite movie with the sound off, i just don't get that "connection" to the segments anymore, but hey It doesn't really matter though because the show is not gonna last anyway, I bet ya it'll be canceled soon enough, I'd rather spike just bring back re-runs of the original, because the "new" show is a dead carcass on the road.........
