Thumbs up Viewing Other Member's Profiles

I've seen this on other sites- what about if you added an application TJ, where when somebody views your member profile, it says it on the profile page, or it says something like "members/people that have viewed your page" and by clicking on the members who recently viewed your profile page, you can click on the member's name that viewed it to see their own profile. It would just be interesting to see what members are constantly or stopped by to view your member profile. Thoughts on this? I don't see it as a harmful or bad thing to do or idea to work with. Let me know, thanks.

I wouldn't want it. There are times when I want to question a person's profile without them knowing it. Not that I'm a stalker, I just have some reasons as I'm sure a lot of us would. I think it could cause problems with some. (not that a lot of info is posted on our profiles)

Call me crazy but I've never looked at anyone's profile or PMed them. I actually hate PMs and have them turned off on here. People will PM me and then the messages will sit in the box for, like, a year because I don't check PMs. This is why I list my Yahoo Messenger ID.

I also thought it was creepy how on RetroJunk they had a feature where you could make comments on a person's profile. I constantly had to delete rude comments to keep it clean.

I think it's a huge invasion of a person's privacy, just like the list that allows people to see where certain members are lurking. (I'm on invisible mode, I hope.)

I think that feature got turned off on here a while back. I only see new members now.

I agree that it's not a great idea. I don't really look at people's profiles often, but I still don't see the need for someone to know everyone who has viewed theirs.

All you have to do is delete the messages once you receive a PM. They sit their because you don't check them, to at least read what they say or delete them if you don't want to be messaged. It's fine though- I was just explaining it to you.

Wow. None?

That's amazing, because Ramona and me have combined to send each other about 123 PM's.

I love sending PM's- it's the best way she and I keep up with each other.

Fail. Not a good idea. It wouldn't be easy to set up, either.
