Happy Unger Day! 11/13
Hey kids, TJL here!
Once again, November 13th is upon us and its time for my favorite holiday that I made up myself... Unger Day! What is Unger Day you ask? Surely fans of The Odd Couple will remember November 13th... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Af1h4ibpKJA Yes, November 13th was the day Felix Unger was kicked to the curb by his long suffering wife Gloria, forcing him to move in with his sloppy BF Oscar Madison, and The Odd Couple TV series was born! Unger Day is the day we honor roommates. Though you may not always get along with the one you share your space with, Felix and Oscar have shown us that even the most opposite of people can still live in friendship. So if you share a house, apartment, or even a bedroom with someone, wish them a Happy Unger Day and tell them how happy you are to have them in your life. Happy Unger Day everyone!  Please, wipe your hands.

Over on the "Brady Bunch" page, I read that today is also the birthday of former L.A. Dodger Wes Parker! He turned 70 today. I would be very interested in what any of you think of the reply that I made on that page! And while I am here, I may as well say, Happy Birthday Garry!

Happy Unger Day everyone!
Sorry i missed the festivities, but I had to work late tonight. But luckily I didn't miss the best part of Unger Day. WPIX (channel 11) here in NYC is showing an all night Odd Couple marathon! I'm glad PIX decided to do this today. They've been showing the Odd Couple for as long as I can remember. Woo hoo! |
