What is TV One? Is it an upcoming station? I looked through over 700 channels hosted by Cablevision in my area, and I don't see it. Maybe I missed it?

It's a cable channel geared toward tv shows featuring Africans Americans that started in January of 2004. Not a lot of Cable services have it.

Come on-lol Yes that what it means, when has another Cable network aired a TV show that TV land had on it's schedule? S&S expires in December of 2008 which is why S&S is starting on TV one in Jan of 2009

First I heard of this, thought a contract for a show had to expire before another cable network could pick it up

Solomon, it is called a shared deal. Where have you been? Many networks have shared deals.

Never heard of a shared deal. The way it was always communicated on this board was if a cable network had the rights to a certain show it could not be picked up by any other cable station

Where have you been??? So many shared deals...Scrubs on WGN and Viacom (Comedy Central/TV Land). Roseanne on Nick at Nite and Oxygen. Cosby Show on WGN and Viacom (TV Land/Nick at Nite). Fresh Prince three-way...on TBS, ABC Family and Viacom (Nick at Nite, The N)...etc etc. You knew that, right???
