For me it was over 70 hours, and that has happened a couple times. When I first went on adderol, (legalized speed), I was constantely awake for up to 60hours or more at a time on several occasions. I remember how when I would get around the 60 hour mark, I'd always get this swishing sound in my ears, and I'd be so desperate for sleep, I'd literally feel like I was going crazy. Once the adderol got in my system though, it started having the opposite effect, to where it would actually help my mind slow down, which in turn would help me to fall asleep. But yeah, those days of 60+ hours without sleep weren't fun, and I'm glad they're over. What's the longest you all can recall going without sleep, and how did the lack of sleep affect you physically?

i think the longest was 36 hours. i had woke up at 3pm then worked 3rd shift and immediately after had to go catch a train in new haven. ct to see a yankees day game. then we went sight seeing in nyc after the game. we didn't get home to midnight and i was so overtired i couldn't fall asleep for a couple more hours.

Probably that one time I was stranded in Rochester / Washington DC trying to get home to California.
I got home from a concert at about midnight, but couldn't go back to sleep cuz I had to be at the airport at 5AM. To make a long story short (I posted it in another thread though), I couldn't get on a plane back to San Francisco till about 12:30AM the next morning, so I guess that was about 41 hours without sleep, counting back to 8AM when I woke up the day of the concert. |

I'm always staying up lol, I'm definitely an all night kind of guy. Probably 2/3 days I've stayed up the most. But I've pulled all nighters so many times.

Even though I do a lot of all-nighters, the most I ever have gone is 46 hours last spring.

The longest I went without sleep was about three days. This was right after my older brother died.

Over a week. Before my depression was finally diagnosed I had MAJOR problems sleepings. Once I was diagnosed and on medication, that dropped but I would still be up for several days at a time. Over time I went back to normal sleeping patterns.
