Question How much sleep do you get per night??

On average? Unfortunately I have sleeping problems, and usually don't get to sleep until around 5:00 am, and I usually wake up around 9:00 am, so for me, it's about 4 hours daily. Every once in awhile I will crash hard, and when I do, it's usually for 12 hours or more. That only happens a couple times per month though. So anyway, when do you usually go to sleep, and how many hours do you usually get per night/day?

In the last few months, I've moved to a schedule where I usually only get between 5.5 to 6.5 hours of sleep per night. This is down from my old 9-10 regime in the past. The weird thing is that I've found that I'm actually MORE rested on less sleep, and I get more done.

You're definitely a night owl like me. I think sometimes were the only members on the boards after certain hours. I'm always sitting there hoping you, or one of the other few night owls will post something, just so i'll have something to respond to.

As far as naps go, I can't remember the last time I had a decent one. Seems like whenever I try to, is when all my friends decide they want to call me on the phone.

About 6.5 to 8.5 hours. The more sleep, the better I feel.

What I need: 10-12 hours
What I get during the week: about 6 (with an afternoon nap after work)
What I get on the weekends: 8-10 usually

I don't have trouble sleeping, I have trouble getting to bed. I keep doing things. I've been that way all my life. Occasionally I have trouble falling asleep if I have too much on my mind.

4 HOURS if i'm lucky during the weekdays. i work 3rd shift and its hard to sleep during the day. i always have to take my dad to work when my shift ends, then my husband usually wants me to stop for something on my way home and the phone never stops ringing when i'm laying down. the dogs bark at everything like when the mailman comes etc.

I get 6 hours of sleep. My daily bedtime is 1:00am. If I fall asleep anytime before this time, I'm up again at 3:00 or 3:30am. I then stay up until about 5:00am and then the alarm rings at 7:00am. This has been my pattern since I was a kid. I make up for any sleep loss on Sundays and sleep as late as I want to, except during NFL season. I have to prepare for Jets Sunday.

Between eight and nine hours most days. If I go to a party or event where I get back late--five or six hours, but I'll usually end of taking a nap the next afternoon.

A lot. It seems no matter how much I sleep I'm always tired. On the weekdays when I have early classes it's usually about 7-8 hours, and when I have late classes or on the weekends it's about 10. That might sound horrible, but honestly it's so difficult for me to wake up. And when I do, regardless of the amount of sleep I get, I end up being tired all day anyway.
