Cool Thrift Store Finds! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Yesterday I was browsing in one of our area thrift stores and found a photo album with pictures dated 1973-74. I have no idea who any of these people are but also included was an 8x10 photo of a game between the Boston Celtics and the Carolina Cougars of the ABA. The photo is signed by 2 players and Larry Brown who began his coaching career with the Cougars and is now Coach of the Charlotte Bobcats. I have no idea about the value of this item but considering it's from the ABA, I should get more than the $1.00 I paid for it.

I also found a Nike Jason Williams Sacramento Kings Jersey at the Goodwill for $1.75 and sold it to a guy in Hong Kong for $175.00. I had no idea that Williams retired this year which is why it went for as much as it did.

I found some awesome deals on WWF/WWE shirts at the GoodWill for my Bro they were Brand New still had the tags on them...and WWE sells them for $25.00 and they were like $3.00....Awesome

Okay, this is totally weird... I could have sworn that I replied to this thread! Well, anyway... the stuff you found is very cool! I've never been to a thrift store (that I can remember), but I've heard that you can find some great deals!

I think I found a baseball and a glove one time but nothing like you did!!

I would love to find a 70s uniform for either Red Sox or Dodgers!!
