Default Thanksgiving Questions

I already started one Thanksgiving thread, but I want to get into some more specific Turkey Day questions.

1. How do you shop for your Thanksgiving food?

2. Do you guys care about the football games on Turkey Day?

3. Do any of you guys do anything creative with the food (different type of pie or turkey, for instance)?

1. How do you shop for your Thanksgiving food?
I don't shop. My Mom cooks dinner. I just bring something.Usually fruit salad. Oh wait! I do shop for fruit! ha ha It's not too difficult. I buy grapes, bananas, apples, mandarin oranges, mini marshmallows, walnuts and real whipping cream. Fruit salad is a holiday tradition for us. I am usually in charge of that!

2. Do you guys care about the football games on Turkey Day?

I don't like football. Especially the Lion's even though I am from Michigan. The Lion's have to be the worst team ever!

3. Do any of you guys do anything creative with the food (different type of pie or turkey, for instance)?
No

I LOVE planning Thanksgiving meals and cooking them! I usually get the traditional whole cranberry sauce, stuffing and sweet potatos, although this year I may just have a roaster because it's cheaper and I don't really need a huge turkey.

Actually we don't. My husband and I always go out to eat on Thanksgiving.

2. Do you guys care about the football games on Turkey Day?

My husband doesn't, but I like football, so I'll watch. However, we'll probably both care this year since the Seahawks are playing Dallas on Thanksgiving Day! How cool is that?!?!

3. Do any of you guys do anything creative with the food (different type of pie or turkey, for instance)?
Nah...all we do is eat it!
