I think that it is interesting that on the same day that I post a message called "More About Larry" someone else starts a thread that indirectly deals with the same Larry! For seasons two and three, this poster picked an episode that featured Larry Rhine's wife! Maybe, this person like me has some special appreciation for Hazel Shermet! Who knows?

In addition to this, there are a couple more episodes up here that I would have picked if I were posting. In the first place, I liked the first season episode known as "Dope". There are a lot of things that I liked about it and one of them is the fact that Helen Hunt was in it. I am crazy about her! I also thought that "Crusin" was pretty cool!

I would now like to write about another episode that I liked and that is not up there. If I had to pick a favorite for the final season, I would go with "Big Apple Blues". I thought that Mindy Cohn as Natelie did a great job of acting disgusted when she realized that her purse had been stolen! It came off as being so natural!

I have observed several things about the responses to this thread that I find to be quite interesting! In the first place, "Shoplifting" and "Green Eyed Monster" seem to be very popular episodes. Like I mentioned in my first response I liked both of these because I am a big fan of Hazel Shermet and these are the only two episodes of this show that she appeared in. Another one that has gotten several votes is "Dope". Helen Hunt is another one of my favorite performers and I thought that she did a great job in this episode! "Crusin" is another one that I would have voted for. I really enjoyed the enthusism that the girls had when it came to offering support for each other and singing along with the radio! However, one that nobody seems too interested in is "Big Apple Blues". Being that Natelie was my favorite character, I like episodes that centered around her. It is my understanding that this was one of several attempts at a spin-off. It is ashamed that neither this nor any of the others worked out!

Bleh, I'm just not a real huge fan of pretty much the whole 9th season...but Nat is totally my favorite character, too. I think she's the most hilarious and real I love, love LOVE Lisa Whelchel, and Blair definitely had some great scenes/lines etc.I love Nancy McKeon but for whatever reason, I was never really incredibly fond of Jo. And I hated Tootie after season 3.

well, "hate" might be a bit of an exaggeration but I seriously did dislike Tootie. Around season 4 she started this scream-y kind of whine that absolutely drove me insane. I honestly don't know how anyone could stand to be around her. She was occasionally funny, though.
