Thumbs up Rita does Rock!!!

Anyone else think this is a really good show? I was at first kind of upset about it taking over The Golden Girls' late night timeslot, but then I gave it a chance, checked it out, and watched a few episodes, and it's actually really really funny!! I was kinda surprised, I have to admit, because I didn't expect to like it. But I do!!! It's a good show!! Anyone else a Rita fan??

I watch it every week and think it is pretty good, but I was hoping Nicole Sullivan would take on a different and more dynamic and challenging role. It seems that she could be doing such daring things, but I feel like she settled on this role.

Either way, I find it a very entertaining way to spend a half-hour. I hope Lifetime picks up more episodes.

It is a decent show. Pilot was a little off but I've watched all six episodes and see the show improving. The cast play well off each other. I hope it lasts but Lifetime's last comedy, Lovespring International did not last a year. Ratings may also suffer because the "core" Lifetimers are in an uproar because their favorite old shows are being preempted by this show.

Yeah, I'm still upset about The Golden Girls.

But you're right...Lovespring International was pretty funny, I wonder why they yanked it??

I liked Lovespring too but its ratings were low. I think it was a little too edgy for viewers who like more family-friendly fare which is why I thought Rita would be more of a success for Lifetime.

I just started watching this show a few months ago and I love it.

It seemed to get better as it went along.
