Love TV shows and movies from the '70s and '80s (even before). They're no where NEAR as good as they use to be.

I love old tv shows and movies. I really don't watch the new shows. I do like Dancing With The Stars and Dog The Bounty Hunter but I still watch Leave It To Beaver and Bonanza and The Andy Griffith Show.

I am in this category too. Matter-of-factly, my television lineup is mostly late-'60's to around 1987, but I do have a couple of seasons' worth of "Lucy" from 1951-53, and I thought that they had some laughs.

Definitely, especially TV Shows prior to 1982.
I like the shows and movies from the 80's and 90's too. |

I'd be ecstatic if you gave me a bunch of old TV action or detective shows from the 1950's (and, of course, a good supply of 1956-60 Howdy Doody shows would be nice too!) and a half way decent DVD player and TV set. I'd be in seventh heaven!

i do! tv and movies back then were fun and full of variety. nowadays, there is no such thing as variety because we are stuck with reality tv and the like. thank goodness for sites where we can watch old shows, as well as you tube and classic tv dvd sets

...I thought that was the purpose of Sitcoms Online (The newer TV stuff is sort of secondary on here anyway).

Right here baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With very few exceptions I dont like TV shows made past 1968, and I cant think of one show that has been done in the last 20 years that I saw and liked. Love old movies and miss watching Turner Classic Movies. The new movies that come out now are beyond terrible. People forgot how to act and to write scrips apperently. Total old school here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Definitely. The old movies I like are classics like Casablanca, plus John Ford produced Westerns with John Wayne--stuff like that. I also like the WWII sagas like The Longest Day, A Bridge Too Far, etc.
I like current movies and shows too, if I think they're good quality. |
