Rolleyes You Can Kind of tell that I Was Getting Sick Of My Own 'Darryl" Character

In "Darryl's Background Story!" I made a rushed 'new" ending,(the new ending was kind of crap, my original was actually good, but I lost it, and had to make this crappish ending)) and I unintentionally made Darryl look like a jerk..... Let's see, his friend Dave was getting beat up and all he did was scream, 'Leave Dave alone!" Let's see, your "best friend" is getting beat up, and all you can do is scream, 'Leave him alone?" Some friend you are .... The sad thing is, Darryl has a cell phone. He could have called 911 for Dave, or call security for Dave, but, no, he just stood there in a trance, until he finally screamed, "Leave dave alone!" Which they didn't, and if Max hadn't shown up, they might have killed him.....

Darryl only seemed to get involved when he found out that The Sneerys(the bad guys in this story), were invading his privacy... what a selfish jerk.... He's fine doing next to nothing when his friend is almost dying, but he gets off his ass when it's his own life being invaded!

But, I did give Darryl one shining moment.... When Max got shot, he rushed over and wrapped Max's wound with his T-shirt, stopping the bleeding, and Max lived! Though, I made Dave kind of useless... When Max was beeding, all Dave did was hold max in his arms.... Good way to keep him alive, Dave! (But, he has an excuse, because he's so emotionally overwhelmed with Max getting shot, that he isn't really thinking rationally. Darryl doesn't really have any emotional attachments to Max, so he can think more rationally.)

Again, Max getting shot was so cliche, i could almost cry.... You can tell I was getting sick of this story when i wrote that part.... Come one, how many times have we seen this same 'shot" scenario?

And the Snerrys becoming gay was cliched too....I originally had them being total ashholes and jsut plain evil and nasty.... I had to rush an idea of why they were so mean to Dave... They were just trying to hide their own homosexual identities.... cliche!

It's kind of embarassing how I started with such a strong opening of the background story, to a lame 'new" ending.... The original ending was GREAT.... It's sad how I went from the dizzying "best-seller" heights of the great start, and original ending and crashed down to bargain bin "cliche cheesy novel" lows of this "new" ending.....
