Default Something I didn't know about George

I was watching the episode "The Parking Space" the other day, and George mentioned that no one in his family is a good parker----He mentioned his dad, his mom and then (!) his brother. I had never noticed any reference to George having any sibblings before. I always figured he was an only child, but there you go. George has a bro. I wonder if his brother's as neurotic as he is, and also a compulsive liar?

OMG, I LOVE the "Parking Space" episode! I had forgotten about him mentioning a brother. Too bad they didn't elaborate on it. I thought he was an only child as well! I think that maybe they mentioned it not realizing that Seinfeld-fanatics like us would pick up on it over ten years after the show ended!

That's very true!

By the way, congrats on the results of the recent election. If I were American, Barack Obama would have been my choice as well.

I think this brother is living in the Island of Misfit TV Characters along with Chuck Cunningham, Judy Winslow, Carl Dixon, etc.

Good catch Dentyte. In the coma episode, one of the early ones where Jerry's neighbor goes into a coma, George mentions a brother to the psychic lady I think. But that is not consistent with the later episodes where George's parents are there and they do not mention a brother at all.

Most tv shows have continuity errors. But I wonder what actor could played George's brother.

How about Gary Burghoff (M*A*S*H)?

I noticed that too but I think the episode where he meets a beautiful woman that is dating his "twin" but uglier, he mentions how if he wasnt an only child this man could be his brother. They did comment on him being an only child at other times, so it was one of this slip ups. I always notice things like that, and it bothers me. I use to think i was the only one! For example on Golden Girls Rose comments about her childhood often, then comments how she was adopted after years in an orphanage. Those little things I think they should follow for OCD people like myself!

I'm the same way. I don't like such errors, and I wish they didn't happen.

George is not the only one. In "The Chinese Restaurant" Jerry says he has a sister when he lists the phone calls that will be set off because of the lady he sees in the restaurant.

I'm so surprised - although I've seen the episode several times - I never picked up on the comment about a brother. Funny a brother was never mentioned by George's parents...I always thought he was an only child!

It's in a scene towards the beginning of the episode, when George is driving with Elaine as his passenger.
