Default Do anyone in 2008 still wear a watch on their arm?

My mom was saying she notices no wera watches anymore and she finds it strange. I haven't wore one in 15 years and really don't need one. I mean why would anyone in 2008 need a watch when you have cell phones?

I do. It's a Best Buy watch that was given to me as a gift from my grandfather just over four years ago. (BTW, I don't have a cell phone.)

I don't wear a watch. I use my cell to tell time.

I do. I don't have my cell phone with me all the time anyway, so I think that a watch is easier lol.

Uhm. I wear a watch because I've been wearing one since I was very young, and therefore feel naked if I don't.

What a ridiculous question to ask.

I'm the same way. It's part of my wardrobe. lol I do have a cell phone, but it's always in my phone holder on my belt, so it's easier just to look at my watch when i need to know the time.

I do - it was a Christmas gift from years back (a Cleveland Indians one ). I also feel naked without my watch. I do have my cell phone as a fall back should it stop.

Why shouldn't you have a watch? Not every job permits cell phones while on duty--and you should be dismissed if you think texting is more important than the reason why you were hired.

Another good point - some people just use their watches as accessories.

I stopped wearing a watch in 1998 when I was stupid enough to play basketball with it on my arm and then got it knocked off and haven't wore one since

I barely use my cell phone, and I always find myself needing to know the time when I don't have a watch, so I always wear one. Plus, you can't always depend on every place you go to have a clock in it
