Site canceled sitcoms by year?? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hi Guys,

For a report I am writing I am looking for a site that chronicles the history of the sitcoms and their subjects:

Is ther a site that contains the following info:

which sit coms were broadcasted in a certain year.

Their numbers

A short description of their content + links to their site

Shows that got cancelled in that year

Thanks for your help

I don't know of a site that will give you all that info, but the years a sitcom ran are given in the main directory (http://www.sitcomsonline.com). They are broken down alphabetically not by year. Their are links for shows that have sites.

There's a book called The Complete Directory to Prime Time Network and Cable TV Shows that gives descriptions for over 5,500 series - you can probably find it in the reference section of your library.

Wow Todd I didnt realise all that is on the portal!!

I usually come right to the VBB site buddy..

I just looked up Rosanne and listenend to 1 of the clips anyway... Its interesting THE ROPERS only aired 1 year (79-80) but I guess its understandable...
