was my 7th year anniversary here on so! wow...i can't believe it's been seven years since i signed up. just wanted to say thank you to everyone on this site. you are all AMAZING & wonderful people. if it weren't for the people on this site, i don't think i would've stuck around this long. you guys are awesome!

Congratulations. Seven years! Wow. I still feel like a rookie; it's still under three years for me. I know what you mean about this place. I know, a few times I've been away (travel, moving, work or family concerns), but I feel part of SO--even though we sometimes get in heated discussions. I feel like it's family and don't hold anything against anyone and hope they feel the same. That's why I took a break from the controversial threads on the Politics board. I was beginning to let my emotions get the best of me.

May you continue to enjoy SO; I feel lucky to have found this site.

i agree. the politics board can get so heated so fast, but only because everyone really believes in what they're talking about. so it's good.
