I think that's "The Boyfriend". OMG, I LOVE that episode! BTW, I found a clip of it from Youtube, so I hope this is the one you are referring to!

Thanks Andrea, I saw that it was aired originally as a 60 min ep which is a season 3 episode. So season 3 is the season I will buy

It's funny - I started watching Seinfeld during its original run when I was a teen, and sometimes today I see reruns that I don't remember seeing the first time. I'm like, "this is really weird".

When I bought the "Gilligan's Island" DVD's I found there was a lot of episodes I didn't remember even though I watched the reruns regularly growing up!
