Was the TV Audience not supposed to notice because his face was made up for Halloween?-lol Very Dumb

This is about 4 years old, but there were several occurrences where Wilson's face was shown in this manner: Losing My Religion being one example. The idea is that we never see all of Wilson's face at once, uncovered. The bottom half of his face is shown in another episode where Mark is covering the top half.

Wilson was dressed as a skeleton in the episode called "Borland Ambition" in season 4 and as "Bubbles The Clown" in the episode called "Losing My Religion" in season 7.
