Default What is your next Blind Buy on DVD?

Well I was successful with blind buying Gomer Pyle back in August and I think my next Blind Buy will be Seinfeld

I only seen a few eps but never could get really into the show because it was always on at a bad time which was 6pm to 7pm. So I think Season 3 or 4 will be my next Blind Buy on DVD

Why are you skipping seasons 1 and 2 of Seinfeld?

Well because I'm not a fan yet so I will just pick a season and see how I enjoy that one and then buy more.

I don't plan on blind buying anything in the near future. I need to save as much money as I can.

In regards to Seinfeld, if you're not a fan you can probably skip the first two seasons for now anyway. The show didn't start to really get good until season 3 in my opinion (with the exception of The Chinese Restaurant in season 2).

I decided to buy season 3 after finding out the ep I liked is from that season.

"The Boyfriend". I like the JFK reference in the ep and I guess it was in there because when the ep aired it was close to the 30th Anniversary of the Assasination.

Yes, good ep. I liked it cause Keith Hernandez was in it.

It's funny you mention Seinfeld, because I was thinking of blind-buying that, too. I've never been a fan of the show, but everyone I know seems to be.

And Christmas is right around the corner, too.

The Seinfeld sets are pretty expensive, though. If I did pick one up, I'd probably go to ebay first before a store.

Ebay has become my new home for DVD's and CD's. The hell with Best Buy and Amazon-lol

I usually find the Seinfeld sets for under $30. And they go on sale every so often at Target, Best Buy, and Circuit City for $20-$25.

They're always on sale at Target for usually $22.99 by me. But, I've never gotten around to buying them. I might though - the show was probably the most popular show of the 90's. I was destined to buy it sooner or later
