After the Great Pumpkin special on Tuesday night, ABC filled the remainder of the hour by showing the rarely seen Peanuts special "You're Not Elected Charlie Brown." I felt it was a great choice by the network considering the election is now less than a week away. However, I thought some scenes were predictable and politically incorrect. On the predictable side, when Linus had the student body president race virtually clinched until he started talking about the Great Pumpkin and the kids laughed at him. Since losing has been a major theme in the comic strip, the viewers like me knew that something would happen. As for being politically incorrect, Lucy threatening kids if they didn't vote for Linus was a complete obstruction of voter's rights. It still shows that she's a bully.

I love this one! It is predictable, but it's hilarious and I love how Charlie Brown works so hard to get Linus elected. He really blew it with that Great Pumpkin thing, didn't he?
