Does anyone remember a case, either from Unsolved Mysteries or from a true haunting-type show, of a young woman who passed away after suffering from bone cancer? Her agonies were severe, including waking up screaming as the cancer had actually eaten her leg bone in two. After she died, which may have occurred in the early 1970s, she began communicating through letters which her mother typed out. The book may have been titled Letters from Karen, but the only books I can find so titled are about the young lady born with cerebral palsy. Can anyone provide a name or book title? Thanks.

I believe it's titled "Always Karen" - written by Jeanne Walker.
