I have not seen Hazel for years. I can't even remember when it was last aired, although I do remember watching it. Too bad, because it was a great show.

I remember seeing it on CBN/The Family Channel in the late 80s, although they didn't show the B&W episodes. TBS reran it around the same time (back when it was WTBS), and they did show the B&Ws. In the early 90s, WWOR (the former New York superstation), showed it in prime time, along with other oldies such as "That Girl" and "The Mod Squad". But then WWOR dropped its superstation status, and I haven't seen it since.

Hey, did anyone else notice that the picture for this board is from the last season, with the second Baxter family? Too bad they can't find a picture of the original cast (Don DeFore, Whitney Blake, etc.) from the first four years -- those are the people we all remember, anyway. That last season is best left forgotten.

Thanks for the info, TV Guy. It was a fun show. However, I was not fond of the "second family." I preferred the original.

Wow -- looks like the messageboard picture has been changed to one of the original cast. Thanks to TJ, perhaps?

Your welcome TV Guy, I wish I could say that I had a whole staff but I'm really a one man operation. Thanks for the tip, I didn't even know (or remember) there were 2 different Hazel casts.

Cool

TJ...For a one-man operation, you are pretty awesome! This is a great place.

I really never watched the "second Hazel" family too often, but I seem to remember a young Ann Jillian(?) playing Mr. Baxter's secretary.

I remember reading that Ann Jillian was on the show, but I never remember seeing her. Too bad nobody shows this anymore -- I'd like to see an episode or two to keep an eye out for her.

Didn't the second Mr. Baxter have a real estate firm? Ann Jillian was his secretary. She was very young at the time. Maybe 18, 19 or so. She may have even been in high school and was working for him part-time.

It is too bad that this show isn't airing. It was one of my favorites.

I found a site that lists show information and episode guides. There were 154 "Hazel" shows(that includes both the old Mr. B and new). Ann Jillian played Millie Ballard from 1965-1966.

You,re wright Ann Jillian was the new Mr B (MR STEVE) office assistant. She was about 16 at the time. I taped all the episodes from the Family Ch from 1988-1990. The last CBS season was terrible! The best episodes were the color ones from 1962-65. To me Hazel was the best show ever made!!

I remember Mr. Baxter being more of a jovial type in the early shows, and then more serious toward the end(before the next Mr. B entered). The color episodes were my favorite.
