Living With The McBrides

Starring Jemma McKenzie-Brown as the new-to-USA foreign exchange student from London, Laurel Hennessy who is staying with her host family- the McBrides. The 17-year-old Laurel's new host family consists of the caring and loving parents, Kurt and Sandra (Hugh Laurie, Margaret Colin) who were college sweethearts, and their two children: the 22-year-old plus-sized yet golden-hearted daughter, Angela (KayCee Stroh), and the 17-year-old sensitive and intellectual yet often naive son, Jacob (Logan Lerman). Kurt is a former amateur lead guitarist of his own rockband-turned-radio executive who has his own radio talk show. Sandra is a well-known nightly anchorwoman at the local news station. Angela is a recent beauty school graduate with ambitions of becoming a celebrity hairstylist someday. Jacob is a high school junior and in the same class as Laurel, whom he shows the ropes of their high school and the dos and don'ts. As well as the McBride family, Laurel meets and is welcomed by Angela's serious boyfriend of 2 years, Justin Tate (David Blue); Jacob's childhood best friend, Ryan Maxwell (Mitchel Musso) who befriends Laurel and joins Jacob as to helping Laurel adapt to her new high school and life in America; and Justin's long-time widowed and close-knit mom, Julia Tate (Marie Osmond) who is the long-time best friend of Sandra's and runs the local coffee shop downtown. Watch how Laurel adapts from her British ways to her new American experience, how the McBride family embraces and treats her as part of their family, and as well as how Laurel affects her host family in general (possibly changing things between them for good..and maybe the bad too.)
