Excellent job, Pav!! Wow--I didn't know that much about Lydia.....or knew that Ted Knight was that ego-centric. Hopefully her upcoming projects will help push Too Close back into syndication and DVD releases. And she is still very very HOT!!!

Thanks, Jude. She was a pleasure to interview. Very willing to share everything. And yes, she is still very stunning. 46 now...time flies. She was 18 when the show started.

That was an excellent interview Pav. I used to have a big crush on Lydia when the show was on....I probably wasn't the only teenager who did. lol

I never knew about anything from TCFC but I did hear that he could be a handful during his years on TMTMS. He really didn't need to be. He was a comic genius and he was good in just about everything he was ever in.

He was hilarious playing off of Rodney Dangerfield in Caddyshack.

Too bad that Ted's ego was over the top. I heard that him and Nancy Dussault did not get along well on the show when she complained about how her role on the show was underdeveloped. Nancy Dussault is an underrated actress. She does comedy very well but never was in shows where she can fully display her skills in it. The New Dick Van Dyke Show she was great in but she was kicked to the curb after two seasons. She sure is an excellent singer and I was glad they let do some singing on the show.

Great interview! Couldn't stop reading it. Can't wait to read Lydia's book when it comes out. Her audition story was funny about the raspberry.

great interview, and it was AWESOME getting to watch the show again last night (I do have both released seasons, but its still great to see it on TV)!!

I always liked the show better when the girls were around, it worked better as an esemble than trying to be a one-man show. Ted Knight was hilarious in everything I've ever seen him in, but he probably had some self-esteem issues that made him act the way he did, Hollywood just makes people weird sometimes.

I do remember seeing Lydia in a lot of those guest starring roles she mentioned, its neat hearing all the inside stories about them.
