Some interesting facts about the lovely Whitney Blake (Dorothy Baxter for the first four seasons): She's the mother of actress Meredith Baxter ("Family Ties"), and she also co-created "One Day at a Time".

Interesting information. I knew she was Meredith's mom, but I had no clue that she co-created One Day At A Time. I really enjoyed her on Hazel.

That means that for a time anyway, Whitney Blake was "Mrs. Baxter" in real life, whether or not she was at the same time she was on tv.
