Hey everyone, Sorry I have been away for a bit, lots going on & i had a interesting weekend. I was lucky enough to do the philly double dip sunday. I went to the eagle game (obviously) then my friend had an extra ticket to the world series game 4 & i was in attendance for that game as well. I have to say going to a world series game is a truly truly wonderful experience!!!!
As for my eagles... It was a business like effort, they started off very very slow offensively & then got it together. Brian westbrook, what can I say about that man...he is truly an amazing football player. I wil say it again, as he goes the eagles go. Matt Ryan is a really solid rookie qb, he handles himself very well in not such good times. The eagles got to him quite a few times, but he dodged the pressure very well & made some good throws down the field. Other than BWEST, there was nothing which really stood out to me as far as the game went, they beat a good falcons team & they sit at 4-3 after 7 games with a trip to seattle coming this weekend. With the state of the NFC currently I think the eagles are on the upper half of the middle of the pack group. They have the ability to play with anyone. The game that I will be watching very closely is the game next sunday night against the champs. I want to see how my boys match up with the best team in the sport. I have learned a little more each week about the eagles, but that game against the giants to me is the game they absolutely have to win to proove to me theya re contenders this year!!! Giants & the titans clearly the best 2 teams in football in my opinion |

An interesting stat.....I was reading the local sports paper today, and this analyst brought up the fact that the four NFC East teams are the only ones in the league that has a top 10 offense and defense.
Giants-3rd in total offense (378.9 yards per game) 4th in toatal defense (271.4 yards allowed) Redskins-7th offense (364.3) 6th defense (278.1) Eagles-8th offense (361.1) 7th defense (287.3) Cowboys 6th offense (365.5) 10th defense (298.6) |
