On October 5, Lloyd Thaxton, best known for hosting a popular teen dance show and hosted the game shows "Everybody's Talking!" and "Funny You Should Ask" passed away at the age of 81. In the late 70s, he was the announcer on the sports trivia game show "Pro-Fan" that was hosted by long-time NBC sportscaster Charlie Jones.

Away from game shows, he was also the producer of the long-running syndication series "Fight Back with David Horowitz."

Lloyd also was part of the traveling crew for
AMERICA'S FUNNIEST PEOPLE on ABC.
And lest we forget his rock and roll music show (syndicated)
called, of course, THE LLOYD THAXTON SHOW.
A very nice man.
