So who's afraid of clowns? Now that Halloween week is here I thought I would put up a post about scary clowns, even though that some crazy man like John Casey dressed as a clown and murder innocent children, but this clown from Steven King's movie 'It' and Clown House a movie from the 80's which suppose the director who molested children I for got his name, But the toy clown in Poltergiest when the boy see's it on the chair and now it dissapears and grabs him always scared the beejee's out of me. Post your clown pic.

I'm not scared of clowns, but I was a bit disturbed by Bart's clown bed from The Simpsons episode 'Lisa's First Word'.

Neither my husband nor I are afraid of clowns, but we have a good friend who is. :-(
Anyways, we even have our own favorites - mine (of course) being Clarabell and my husband's being Capt. Spaulding (played by Sid Haig in Rob Zombie's "House of 1,000 Corpses"). |

I've never been afraid of clowns myself, but I know several people who are - my sister included.

Nah...but I do think clowns are sad. Like their happiness is masking heartache.

I was always terrified of clowns growing up, they still freak me out a little. What's really scary though are puppets *shivers* like these:

I've never been afraid of clowns (in fact, I really like them), but this one would scare the crap out of me! I could never understand how people could be afraid of clowns, but after some pictures I've seen, I can certainly see why!

I've never been afraid of clowns, but at least from people I do know, it seems to be a common phobia for people in their mid-late 30's... people who were old enough to be aware of the news when John Wayne Gacy was arrested and seeing the photos of him as Pogo and hearing that he dressed up as a clown and murdered kids... but not old enough to realize the murderer and the clown were different things, but yet it seems to be a common phobia for a lot of people I know who were around 4-8 in 1978.
