Wow. I can't believe this would be here. I even known noticed that even 13 episodes are bad enough. I need to understand what was Ms. Nancy Walker thinking upon signing this project, despite making a guest spot on Happy Days. So far, only Scott Baio and Lynda Goodfriend are the only actors to appear on Happy Days in the long run. |

I never thought of BB as a "spin off." The first episodes were already shot and they had Nancy appear on Happy Days as Howard's "cousin," but that seemed to me a transparent attempt to advertise the new show.
Anyway... I'm guessing Nancy Walker did the show because...she was an actress and needed the work. The previous fall, she'd done The Nancy Walker Show for Norman Lear and it flopped. It must've really sucked to have had two failed sitcoms in the same season...and both for big-name producers who had several hit shows under their belt. And then she went on to direct the Village People's classic cult b-movie, Can't Stop the Music.

I'm still trying to figure out why Penny Marshall appeared in a episode of Blansky Beauties. I don't think she was Laverne defazio

it wasn't really THAT bad of a show; it wasn't particularily funny and didn't really make a lot of sense, but it must've had SOME redeeming qualities or I wouldn't have watched all those episodes of it...

I still don't understand as to why they used these 50s characters in a 1970s setting in Vegas if they didn't look like they aged one bit? Big goof right there. I can understand actors playing different character, but having those that were part of the 50s-60s generation, that's a bit of a stretch.

Wow, I've never even heard of that show before! I saw a lot of familiar faces from both Laverne and Shirley and Happy Days. Well, only Penny Marshall, Pat Morita and Scott Baio. Interesting! I'm going to watch those other Youtube videos of the show. The 80's Vegas scenes kind of intrigued me!

Their roles were no different from their Happy Days characters. Lynda Goofriend and Scott Baio also appeared in Who's Watching The Kids, another Gary Marshall production.

Nancy Remembers Laverne To keep Joey from despairing about his dreams, Nancy recounts (via flashback) a search for talent in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and meeting aspiring dancer Laverne DeFazio. That's how they had a 50's character in a 70's show, flashbacks. |
