Hey everybody. You all have been very patient with all my totally unimportant questions, so one more time around shouldn't hurt you.
Do any of you know what Eastland's official name was? Was it officially called The Eastland School for Girls or The Eastland Academy for Girls or Eastland Girls' Academy or just Eastland Academy? I admit, I'm a total dunce...I DEFINITELY should know this. I must be going through a stupidity phase or something!

Well, it depends on which season you are talking about.
If I remember correctly (and somebody correctg me if my memory is bad) in the pilot episode and when it was talked about on Different Strokes it was East Lake Academy. For the actual pilot episode it was changed to Eastland School for Girls. But near the end of the series when Blair took over the school it was just Eastland Academy since they opened the school for boys. D |
