This http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27294906/?GT1=43001 reminds me of an Unsolved Mysteries case, with the obvious differences that that one was abducted outside her apartment and never seen again. This one was found in her home and so far has survived. What was the abduction case, and was there ever an update?

I believe you are talking about the case of Jodi Huisentruit.

Seems I'm not the only one to notice parallels: the Anne Pressly story is featured right on the front page of the Jodi website. There are even some resemblances between the women. This should definitely be featured in a UM update.

When I saw this on the news, I immediately thought of Jodi Huissentruitt, and I hadn't seen that segment in years. The similarities are unsettling.

I heard about the attack yesterday on Nancy Grace. I too thought about Jodi. There are a lot of similarities. But I do feel bad for many news anchors because there willl always stalkers around.

Sadly Anne died from her injuries today. I checked one of the sites dedicated to Jodi and an article about Anne is mentioned on there but the site hasn't been updated about Anne's death.

This reminds me of a case I saw on AMW. It was about a local reporter who was also killed. She was in her twenties and was either stabbed or beaten to death. The only detail I remember is that they said she rented several DVDs that were missing from the crime scene.

Does anyone recall this case?

I believe you're talking about Jennifer Lynn Olson Servo, 3 seasons of Sex and the City and a copy of Saving Private Ryan were missing.

Well, if the suspect just arrested in the Pressly case turns out to be guilty, he can't have killed Jodi as well, or couldn't likely have without help as he'd have been only 15 at the time.
