Smile For Students, Methods In Taking Quizzes/Tests?

I was just wondering, I have a quiz tomorrow and since I was absent, I didn't get the questions for the quiz tomorrow, which we usually get ahead of time, to study and answer the questions for the following week's quiz. It just helps, instead of reading 50-70 pages in the book. Anyways, for current students in any grade or level, or former students that recently graduated, what were or what are your methods to taking tests? Preparations? Process of elimination? Getting a good night's sleep? Whatever it may be, share it with us , or me at least lol.

Especially if I'm unprepared, I usually choose the natural 2 best answers out of the 4 if it is a multiple choice assessment, and as far as preparation I just study as much as I think I need to, before taking it. Don't care about the amount of sleep, although I do think you should at least eat breakfast or w/e you normally eat, the night before or morning of- a big test, exam, quiz etc. That's what I would do.

i usually take a loooot of notes in class so i don't end up having to do as much reading. i'll read once in a while or if i'm confused about a subject, but not that often. that and paying attention during the lectures makes the exam questions easier to understand. i always have trouble with second guessing myself. there's times when it's down to two answers that are really similiar and instead of going with my gut, i over-analyze it and chose the other one that's wrong. ah...i hate when i do that. but i agree...eating breakfast the day of is very important. you don't want to be focusing on your stomach or just thinking about how hungry you are when you should be focusing on the test.

Yeah I agree. And the same thing happens to me, I get down to 2 choices and my gut feels weird, I can never decide on which of the answers is correct and I have a war within myself lol.
