I liked I Dream of Jeannie a lot better. The show was more fun and had more humor. Jeannie was adorable, fun, energetic, daring, sassy, innocent, hip, sexy, happy-go-lucky, adventerous, vivacious, and mischievous.

Jeannie and Major Nelson had AWESOME chemistry together, and made a great-looking couple. Major Nelson was so cute!!!

I also loved the friendship between Major Nelson and Major Healy. Major Healy was a great character as well.

And Dr. Bellows was so hilarious! lol

I also loved Amanda Bellows.

I even liked the theme song to I Dream of Jeannie better.

Bewitched - I love the sweetness of the early years of Darrin and Samantha's marriage. Plus, I cared about them more than I did about Tony and Jeannie. I will give credit where it's due, though - Roger Healy was a great character.

Bewitched.
- Not only fun to watch Samantha, but all of her wacky relatives; many other characters besides Darrin and Sam.
- Dick York's superior acting and facial expressions.
- The benefit of two well-known and respected actors... Agnes Moorehead and Maurice Evans.
- It had several Halloween episodes.
- A big ratings success... the #2 show on TV for the 1964-'65 season.
- A catchy theme song... there is even sheet music with the words to it.

^ Interesting observations, Fleet!!!! Not enough credit goes to one of the great underrated actors of his generation, Dick York. He could play comedy, drama and romance and do them all WELL. Why doesn't he have a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame along with Liz Montgomery and Agnes Moorehead??

Yes, Roger was a terrific character, as was Bill Daily's interpretation of Howard Borden on The Bob Newhart Show.

He was so much fun to watch! Much more funny than the "2nd" Darrin.

We should all be glad he stayed with the show as long as he did because Bewitched would not have been the same if he was only on for one or two seasons.

I liked Bewitched more for the same reasons as Fleet. There was also a romantic mood that came through, as well as a chemistry between the whole cast. There were several stand out episodes that choke me up every time from the 1st and second seasons. I even like the Dick Sargent years even though they weren't up to the standard of the early years. No disrepect toward Jeannie as I have both replica bottles from the show.

I like Bewitched. It reminds me of ym childhood. I tried to watch IDOJ, but couldn't get into it.

I Dream of Jeannie

Sure it's corny, but it's funny. Bewitched isn't funny, it's just stupid. Though I know quite a few people will disagree with me here.
