I've been keeping a close watch on Mr. Terrific for several years now. As far as I know, this is what's available:
The Pill Caper- This compilation movie has been kicking around on trading/selling sites for a while. The Unaired Pilot- Ditto Matchless and Stanley the Safecracker- Both aired on TVLand early in this century and have long been available. A batch of German dubbed episodes popped up in 2005. Another batch of German episodes with an English SAP option came along in 2007. I believe the current status is that all episodes are now available. Three of them (Mr. Big Curtsies Out; Fly, Ballerina, Fly and The Sultan Has Five Wives) are only available as German dubs. But, hey, if anyone has those last three with the original, English soundtracks then please let me know. |

Hope all is well with you. The search for MR. TERRIFIC continues.
TVLAND has at least two episodes in their library (without the TVLAND bug). Make a connection there and see what transpires. On another note, I just got an episode of an old syndicated drama from the fifties called THE BUCCANEERS, and (the reason for the mention is) the character focused upon is named BEAMISH. |

"The Buccaneers" sounds familiar, but I don't believe I've ever seen an episode. Interesting they used the name Beamish in that ep. You know, I'd always assumed they simply gave Stanley Beamish that name to rhyme with squeamish. Of course the unaired pilot makes no use of that rhyme, so that's probably not the reason. There's an old box in our basement for a toilet seat made by a manufacturer called "Bemis." I went down there one day and found my wife had taken a marker and changed it to "Bemish."
