Maybe this has been reported before but it's news to me -- I just read that a special episode was filmed in early 2008 with Geoffrey Hughes -- the title is "Life Lessons With Onslow".

Has anyone seen this special yet on PBS??

Sounds like one of those recap specials that uses an actor as a wraparound for scenes used throughout the series. They did one a few years back with both Daisy and Onslow if I recall correctly.

It's aired here before. Yeah, it's pretty much that. It's kinda nice seeing what some cast members of these shows look like today. It was one reason why I was excited a few years back when they had an AYBS? special featuring Mollie Sugden.

I believe I saw this on PBS a while back.

Wish they would do a "real" reunion special and follow up on what Hyacinth, Richard, Daisy, Rose, Violet, Sheridan, Onslow, Elizabeth and Emmet are all up to today. Is Hyacinth now answering her cell phone "Bouquet residence, Lady of the house speaking?" and running her own etiquette advice web site and becoming England's Martha Stewart? Are Onslow and Daisy still taking care of Daisy's one-hundred-and six-year old father, who still thinks he is in the Foreign Legion? Did Richard join the local Sixty-And-Over cricket league just to have a reason to get out of the house and away from Hyacinth? Is Rose finally married and settled down with Mr. Poopadoopawhapolous and playing Step-Mommie Dearest to his nine children? Did Violet divorce Bruce when he was embroiled in a political scandal after being caught speeding while cross dressing with a car full of strange "punishment" devices? Did Elizabeth finally go on meds to control her Royal Doulton Breaking Syndrome? Did Emmet marry his mail-order bride and move to Thailand just to escape Hyacinth? Did the post man go on strike and refuse to deliver mail to the Bucket household? Did Sheridan marry his college roomate Tarquan on the first day same sex marriages were legal in the UK? Did the vicar accept a position at a church on the far-flung Isle of Man so he would no longer have Hyacinth as a parishioner?

Oh, the possibilities!

Thanks much for the replies -- I'll be on the look-out for Onslow.

And I'd love to see a reunion show -- yes, the possibilities are mind-boggling -- LOL.
