i always email them back saying that i keep that information in an image file for security reasons, and give them a URL link to goatse. they can't be smart enough to not fall for it.

Yes, I love these emails! This happened twice to me already

The first time, the guy sent me the email saying what you basically stated. And, for the fun of it, I emailed him back, asking him a bunch of questions. And of course, I got no reply.

The second time, it happened again, this time a woman, and I again sent back an email, this time requesting proof that this is actually legit. So, the woman sent me back a picture of her photo ID. It was actually kind of creepy, but the funny thing is there are actually people out there who believe people would be gullible enough to fall for it.
