Heart Janet & Jermaine Break-up

JANET JACKSON REPORTEDLY BROKE IT OFF WITH JERMAINE DUPRI

Janet Jackson and Jermain Dupri

Could it finally be over? Well that's what MediaTakeOut.com is hearing. According to our pals over at Janet Charlton's Hollywood, Janet has dumped Jermaine Dupri. Or to be exact - Janet's management team dumped him. Here's a snippet of the juicy details of what went down.
Jermaine Dupri is in the doghouse. Not only did he reportedly puke on Janet Jackson's lap at his birthday party, his contributions to her career have been disappointing. He gave Mariah Carey lots of hits but hasn't done the same for his girlfriend Janet. He created the concept for her tour and also arranged parties for Janet after every show.
She's been exhausted by the rigorous show and the partying is too much for her. She's just not as young and energetic as she used to be. Janet cancelled tour dates and took a rest in Atlanta at a health spa recovery place. Janet's management disagrees with Jermaine (they blame him for many of her failures) and they stopped him from visiting her. Jermaine was told "You're not her boyfriend any more." Jermaine took off for New York and he and Janet are speaking on the phone.
Where their relationship stands, no one knows for sure. Jermaine has been on a losing streak as of late. It might be a good move for JJ to cut him loose.

I have to admit I'm kinda happy about this. Janet's career went in the crapper when she hooked up with trollboy and I always hated his weasil-like voice (he does it on Mariah's songs too).

I knew Janet wasn't going to be upstaged by Madonna... she breaks up with JD and goes back on tour the same day Madonna goes public with the divorce with Guy

Ouch! That one hurt. Oh come on, can't we just bury the hatchet SBTB Geek? At least we agree on Obama.

Yeah I think it might be good for Janet to shake off Jermaine and just be single for a while. Who knows maybe she will get inspired to write a new #1 hit.

I think Madonna and Janet are a delayed #2 and #3 from Whitney and Bobby. I don't think Nick Cannon is as hated with Mariah fans as JD, Guy and Bobby were

Well I wish MC & Nick nothing but the best of love and happiness. I hope they will both be happy for a long long time.

Gosh, the audacity of these fake media outlets. lol Jermaine was present at Janet's concert Wednesday night in D.C. so I hardly think this is true.

personally I kinda wish it was true. I blame Jermaine's mouth for why 20 Y.O. flopped and wasn't as good as it could've been. He tried to make Janet something she wasn't just because he found a winning formula for Mariah and Usher (and even those two aren't doing as well this year as before). "Call On Me" is the worst single of Janet's career IMO and it was all Jermaine's doing IMO.

Without that troll, her career would start to rebound I think. Jermaine is bad news and makes comments bashing pop and dance fanbases, which is where Janet's true bread and butter is IMO

WOW! That's a little harsh. I hope it's not true. I always thought they made a good couple.

I turned on JD during the 20 Y.O. promotion period where he was making comments like "Janet's relied too much on white audiences, who needs them? I want her to reconnect with the r&b market and forget the pop and dance fanbases"... we saw how well that turned out!

Jermaine is no Rene Elizondo in terms of her career, Janet's best work came when she was with Rene, whereas JD has turned her into a slightly more successful version of La Toya. Really sad. Discipline was a good album but I think 20 Y.O. turned off too many people that no one gave it a chance. He tries to be Janet's spokesperson but the truth is that Janet was a star back when he was going through puberty fantasizing about Janet on MTV.

Well, at least it seems to be a more amicable breakup than she had with James DeBarge and Rene Elizondo.

Christina Aguilera is probably sitting her husband down right now...

For a second I thought it was true, but then I saw the words MediaTakeOut.com.
