Lisa Bonet Continues in Her Recurring Guest Starring Role of Maya Daniels Sylvia Miles and Heather Matarazzo Also Guest Star

"The Real Adventures of the Unreal Sam Tyler" - Is this vintage1973 Sam Tyler real or not? Sam's unbelieving ears clearly hear a radio station announcing that Elvis will perform a concert in memory of his mother, but he's still not sure how or why he landed in these circumstances. Moreover, he doesn't have much time to think about his own predicament. A string of fatal robberies at AAA Money check cashing stores are baffling the 1-2-5, and Sam jumps headlong into the case, which features no forced entries and no witnesses. Even with Lt. Hunt strong-arming the lead suspect, it still takes an unexpected turn of events to make the squad to look within to solve the crime. At the end of the day Sam, in spite of himself, might even experience some true happiness - temporary though it might be -- on "Life on Mars," THURSDAY, OCTOBER 16 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"Life on Mars" stars Jason O'Mara as Detective Sam Tyler, Harvey Keitel as Lieutenant Gene Hunt, Michael Imperioli as Detective Ray Carling, Gretchen Mol as Annie Norris and Jonathan Murphy as Detective Chris Skelton.

That nude girl seemed to be more from the 1967-69 era than 1973.

I loved the episode. It was better than the pilot. I just checked the ratings though and it didn't do very well. Ratings were down 23% from last week.

That's early numbers still, I'll wait until I see the full picture in the finals. It could very well be 1st or 2nd in 18-49 in the time period.

Ugh

At 10 p.m., "Eleventh Hour" drew a 7.8/13, an improvement on last week's series premiere. NBC got a 5.9/10 from "ER," while "Life on Mars" fell off from its debut and finished with a 5.6/9 for ABC.

Eleventh Hour went UP with it's horrible reviews but Life on Mars crashed? Something is wrong with this picture.

Because a lot of people were probably like my friend and did not like it after seeing the premeire which led to the big drop off

This is totally pathetic. Why watch generic stuff like Eleventh Hour?? I cannot wait until October 30 though when ER will be weaker.
