I am sure other News Outlit's will have this story but as of Right Now www.TMZ.com was the only website to report that Gale was in the Accident.

Scary news: Hospital sources confirm that Desperate Housewives star Gale Harold is in the neurosurgical intensive care unit at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, in "stable condition."

According to a representative for the actor, "We can confirm that Gale Harold was in a motorcycle accident yesterday, Oct 14. He has fractured his shoulder and is under observation to assess any possible further injuries. Everyone is hopeful for a full recovery. No one else was injured in the accident."

Gale Harold, a new cast member on the hit ABC show Desperate Housewives, is in critical condition at the Intensive Care Unit of USC Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Harold, 39, is awaiting further tests after being hospitalized with injuries sustained in a horrific motorcycle accident on Oct. 15.

“We can confirm that Gale Harold was in a motorcycle accident,” his publicist told TVGuide.com. “He has fractured his shoulder and is under observation to assess any possible further injuries. Everyone is hopeful for a full recovery.”

Harold, who is best known for his previous star-making roles in Queer as Folk and Vanished, suffered a head injury in addition to shoulder injuries. Marc Cherry, creator of Desperate Housewives, says Harold apparently has swelling of the brain, but is expected to recover.

Harold was due on the ABC series’ set before getting into the accident. No one else was injured in the crash.

Things are looking better for Gale Harold. According to reports, the Desperate Housewives star is improving nicely from his motorcycle accident earlier this week. At the moment Gale is still under observation at County-USC in downtown Los Angeles, but he will be moved to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center near Beverly Hills for further treatment when a bed becomes available. According to reports, he's expected to recover, which is fancy talk for "everything is gonna be all right." Despite Harold's injury and ongoing recovery, no major Desperate Housewives production disruptions are expected.
